 I meant to start this blog weeks ago but never managed.
Well, what has been happening in Barrow?
We've been busy in Newbarns where there is by-election next month. I have been pleased with both the response on the doorstep and also with the level of support the By-election Team have received. Not only have we recruited some new members and deliverers we've also had members from far and wide volunteering to help, my thanks go to all of them.
Preparations for David Cameron's visit are almost complete, the venue is booked, the press briefed and we're all ready to go. I think it will be a very successful event and I'm sure the people who come and listen to him will be impressed by his grasp of the problems we all face and will get a better understanding that we have polices to meet these problems.
